It can be difficult to know how to study, because studying for board exams can be hit-or-miss. No one knows exactly what material is covered, or how difficult the questions will be. The Pass My Boards Apps provide large Q-Banks that are similar in style and difficulty to the board exams. This website also provides advice based on input from residents who have written and passed your board exams.

The key to passing is PRACTICE. The more exam-style practice questions you do, the better prepared you will be for your exam. But you need to practice using the right questions! Other than Pass My Boards, there are no Q-Banks that are: 1- up-to-date, 2- similar in difficulty to the exams, 3- available on-the-go, and 4- inexpensive. Many Q-banks exist, but they vary widely in difficulty, and are not all good representations of the test material. Some do not even cover all the material tested on the exams.
